about me
hi, I'm millie.
I've always had a passion for creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. For as long as I can remember, I've been creating art, building websites, writing blog posts, filming videos, and making music—all with a driving force to share my perspectives and ideas with the world.
One of my more significant projects was Classica & Lillie (2014–2019), a personal blog that showcased personal reflections, lifestyle photography, and food and travel documentation. Around this time I was also semi-regularly uploading makeup tutorials and travel vlogs on my YouTube channel, which is currently semi-active. Included in my roster of online content creation is Twitch, featuring livestreams of casual gameplay, music, and commentary mixed with raunchy humour and banter.
My ambitions brought me across the country to McGill University in 2017, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and World Religion. While I wasn't the most book-smart of the bunch, I was captivated by new ways of thinking about various life experiences. My university experience ultimately cultivated an appreciation for differing perspectives and a desire to express these new ideas to others in an accessible way. Included in my educational background is graphic design, basic Photoshop/Illustrator, and creative and content writing.
In the professional world, I am currently working as a jack-of-many-trades front desk admin at a community-focused non-profit organization. Otherwise, I freelance in photography, videography, and video editing. Both jobs surround me with opportunities to connect with people from different walks of life and create things that will help them tell their stories.
Though not an exhaustive collection, this website serves as a portfolio of my creations from previous personal projects, freelancing work, and school assignments. For my full resume, check out my LinkedIn.
